Hey man, co-incidence I saw this but anyway.
Yeh Valve sound have 56 scoop bass bins, and they are designed and built by FUNKTION-ONE.

Basically its a compiled set of speakers that each play a different frequency range. The scoops for sub bass, then deep bass, bass, bass-mid, and then mid (snares) and then the higher freqencies for the pads and hats...
and are all linked up to the freq board to be fine tuned and changed for the acoustics of the venue. all together 96,000 watts..
Its not the loadest or biggest sound system thats bollox.. you really want sound go to a kiss concert.

Coincidence i saw this also,
and had to correct it because thats absolute rubbish mate.
The valve consists of 56 scoop bassbins, a 70's speaker design, primaryly used in dub reggae systems, from which dillinja grew up with and loved.
He decided to build his own stack, and kept with the scoops, as they do produce a low bass, and have an older dirter sound to them.
THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED BY FUNKTION ONE.
Within the past two years, Dillinja and Valve decided to upgrade the mid-tops. The previous ones, ripped your ears apart, so they approached Funktion One,
as a result you have 56 scoops with FK1 Resolution 5's on top.
World class mid highs.
It's also not that great a system IMO.
