The valve sound system is only 96K! Would it shock you to know that it is not actually driven by valve amplifiers at all? In fact it is driven by C - Audio amps - and quite old battered models too...

I don't really see the appeal of the system... Its not very high quality, poorly designed, spec'd and assembled. It certainly doesnt sound crisp, in fact, I'd say its quite lacking in mid range and what treble sounds do penetrate sound distorted and comressed. This is probably due to the exuberant ammounts of scoop bass enclosures and the meagre midrange or treble speakers being driven far to hard. Never liked funktion one RES5s tbh
