Kentucky Kandi Round II

Another kandi?! In Kentucky?! AHHHHHHH!

Woo that's better, I can't beleive that there are other kandi in ky that understand that the scene has died and aren't clinging to shreds of it's former glory!!! I haven't been able to find other kandi in a while. All of my friends and i were kandi a while back. Then all of my friends decided that kandi was "kiddyish" and that it wasn't 'cool' I just about blew up!! I'm glad i've found other kandi who at least sound like they understand. It's good to know the luv is alive somewhere and it's not limited to just me. PLUR(R) it's what you live for
music it's what you want
rythm it's what it's about
kandi it's the way you brighten other lives ^.^

Kentucky Ravers seek Underground
by John K on Thursday 28 October 2004 @08:40AM
My wife and I just moved to Kentucky and are ravers. Where is the good scene around here? We live in Lexington. Someone please respond so that we can find out what's going on these days. We don't like the "upscale" club scene and the hip wannabes. Don't care for drugs either. We just want to hear someone slinging some good vinyl and meet some nice people. It's sad that a lot of the scene has died out, but in a way it keeps it underground. Someone contact us please. Thanks.

John

(sigh) of relief

would like to start of by saying that i am a raver (not a kandi kid, mind you =)) from the seattle area.. the whole rave scene here is amazing... everything about it, the musis, the people, everything... i am moving to louisville in two months.. seeing as how raving has been a big part of my life for going on four years, i was a bit worried about the scene in ky.. if there was a scene at all.. i am relieved to find that there are, in fact, true ravers in the bluegrass state.. i cant wait to come and check it out.. does anyone know of any good websites or otherwise where i can find out about upcoming parties and whatnot, in or around louisville??
