Jamelia - Drama (album)
TUNES Posted by Dave Junkie on Friday July 07, @04:23PM
Jamelia has a new album. She has released a couple of singles of it, but unfortunately there is more

O.K. I would like to make a small point first, I was sent the album by a promotions company and I did not in any way; ask for or buy this album!
I can understand that there are people who like this album, "Drama", (see the replies to the single review a few weeks ago) and that she may be seen as a talented young song writer but the album as a whole is quite terrible. Well there is always room for improvement on a solo artist's debut album but, in this, Jamelia has a long way to go to get even near to this point.
Of all of the 14 tracks on the album there is only one that I like and that is the old skool mix of her single "Money". This in itself goes to show how bad an album can be if a remix is the best thing on the CD.
For Jamelia fans the album has the singles on it that have been released: "Money" and "Call Me" as well as a remix of "Money", Plus another 11 tracks that follow the same musical lines.
This album is certainly not for me but there will be many people that will like it. Good luck to them and for the rest of us; don't bother, save your money for a night in the pub - it'll be more fun, trust me.
