The Time Frequency - A History!
TUNES Posted by djpileup on Wednesday 21 June 2006, 08:21PM

I don't have an mp3 of this record (i'm sure you could pick it up cheap online anyway or even at a carboot sale) but i can tell you a bit more about it...

The spoken sample you refer to was originally taken from some television documentary (it was probably about raves or drugs and around about late eighties or early nineties - I forget exactly).

The first TTF release was a live version of 'Retribution' in 1990 on a 12" Single called the Futurama EP.
Because of it's popularity it was then released under the name 'U41A' in 1992 on the CD Single 'The Time Frequency EP (This version is only on the CD and not the 12").
Further versions appeared on 'Real Love 93' (12" or CD Single) in 1993 and also on The Time Frequency's album 'Dominator' (CD or LP) in 1994.
