Happy HTFR customers are in a minority,..
Posted by matt templar on Wednesday September 10, @01:28PM

HTFR are without doubt the worst company for customer service I've ever dealt with on any basis, work or pleasure.

In the year I dealt with them I bought a new set up from them, so I spent over a grand easily, and somthing like 7/10 of my orders were cocked up.. The few of my mates that have ever used them say exactly the same too.

Their website is a work of pure fiction as well.

I've seen tunes in their catalogue, then checked the website, which confirms, then phoned to check that they've actually got them, and they go, 'yeah, no worries, it's on the system".. The rest of your order comes through a week later and they haven't sent it because they're out of stock, which means the guys either totally incompetant or a total liar...

I've ordered stuff and had the sleeve sent with a totally different record in it(that was my personal favourite). I ordered a "Drum and Bass" mystery pack and got Moby 12"'s..

I can't even remember all the mistakes they made.. Missing records, stuff coming out damaged, stuff not turning up at all.

The staff don't give a monkeys either and make out that they can't be bothered to talk to you..

I used to manage a shop and know that 9/10 of the average joe public are complete moaners and complain about anything, but I got so angry I sent a nasty letter over a missing record (the kind of thing my mum would do..) to the manager, something I'd never, ever do.

I never got a response... Which really says it all.

As an alternative try chemical records online, who do loads and always send you stuff in really, really mint condition, rather than the beaten and tatty sleeves that you get from HTFR, or if you like Drum and Bass, try Kaizen Records who also have been really good to me.
