Ultracynic - The best ever :-) |

I completely agree, "Nothing is forever" by Ultracynic is one of the best old school dance tracks written. I first heard it back in 1992 and fell in love with it immediately. Shame not more people know it. Infact, I'm quite surprised some people still remember it. Reminds me of my teenage years,ah...

Ultracynic release dates? |
by Phil Graves
on Tuesday 20 November 2007 @07:20PM
I'm surprised to read 1991 and 1995 as release dates for this tune. I clearly remember it hitting the UK Top 50 but not the Top 40 in the summer of 1992 and again hitting the Top 50 but not the Top 40 in the early Spring of 1997. I know exactly where I was both times and could not possibly have mistaken those years. Maybe it was white labelled back in 1991? Missed it the first time around but bought the CD single on reissue. Was it really released in 1995 too? That would mean it had at least three outings.
Anyway, thought it was a crying shame that it never went Top 40, but the best tunes don't always have the most mass appeal.

Looking for Ultracynic's Lead Singer |
by simon rolley
on Thursday 22 May 2008 @01:56PM
I've made a mint guitar accoustic version of this and am looking for the lead singer to sing over it again, does anyone know her name or where i can locate her? I know the guy who wrote the song was Tim Brennan and died in an accident in Barcelona in the late 90's I believe. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
