I'm trying to find any old videos...
just a quicky, please anyone with info on how i can get my hands on any videos floatin about from roughly 91 to 94 i think, those who went to this event or any of the others such as elevation weird science future myth.... cannot remember any of the others... best times of my life without a doubt( apart from tryin to get out of the car park mingered.... any elevtion vid info would be preferable as went to almost every one,,, cheers

hello matt, i used to love going to roller express, guaranteed i woz there every wkend! They were the best times. Cant help u with any videos im afraid and i wod love to get my hands on one coz i believe i woz filmed on stage dancing with the bloke who walked round done up as a robert...do u remember him? Wernt MCMC just exlnt! Future myth3 woz the best and do u know wot..i have every flyer still! Well good luck finding the video and if you let us know. Bye mate.

Yer I did Roller Express evertime it was on (was it every weekend) in 1991-93 (ish). Also did the Berwick Manor thing in 88/89 when I 1st came into rave. It went abit pants from 93 (to jungle) but then I got back on a good thing in 1996 when I started going to Seduction Weekenders Yarmouth, and then Club UK, Chunnel, Satelite and such like!!! tell me, is there any old skool places these days?

I was a regular at the Roller Express. Elevation, Reincarnation, Desire, Future Myth etc.
I've been looking for video footage too. Got a Nicky Black Market/Randall set for Future Myth IV (March '93) where the MC (can't remember his name) even says they are filming. It was the night they had a gyroscope and that robot firing a lazer at everyone!
You know, I was in the army in the early '90s, posted in North Germany. I used to drive home every Friday night to go to Roller Express or, if it wasn't on, the Lazer Drome in Peckham ;-)
If I find any, I'll post it up.

I am touched that you remember the Gyroscope, as I owned it. We were honoured to do the Roller Express a good few times ( circa 1992 ). We (myself and friend Barry) purchased a couple of Gyroscopes ( Known as Spaceball's ) as a bit of escapism ( he had : "five kids; and a mortgage'!"... as he always quoted ). It was a great time in our lives ( going to loads of Events F.O.C, and seeing all you lot enjoying life ). Anyway, thanks for bringing back such wonderful memories. Kind Regars, Wayne

I`ve been searching for Elevation videos for years, I went to every single one at the Roller Express so i just have to be in one of them,..no luck tho so if u have any luck PLEEEZE let me know. Loved the Roller...Elevation, desire, Utopia, a one-off called HUMANOID which i will never ever forget!! I so miss the old rave days, i get goosebumps still when i listen to the old tunes, Anyone go ORANGE at the hippodrome?? it started at 1 in the morning!, Lazerdrome, the Rocket, Holloway Road..LABRYNTH dalston lane (dirty old place..lol), World dance, RAINDANCE!!loved it all, well miss it!!!

Hi Karen, we must have bumped into each other as I've been to all of those apart from orange at the hipperdrome. If I was working on a Saturday night I wouldn't finish til 2am, but used to go to AWOL at the Paradise Club (spellings probably wrong) which started at 10pm but once a month went on til 1pm Sunday afternoon! Labrynth was dirty, but was really great and had some of my best nights there. Oh to go back to that time. As for Videos - there is a group on facebook that has posted a couple from the roller!

me and my brother were the hardcore ravers from cornwall and our home was roller world dance the rocket and the hippodrome god those mirrors in there trying to get in a room that did not exist smack into mirror ha ha i miss them days but i did meet my wife from the good old days hardcore till i die R.O.A.R
