My uncle worked @ Bowlers, Not anything to do with the club side of things though, yes someone OD'ed but also someone was stabbed, for both these reasons it was shut down by 'the new owners' of Bowlers & also Manchester Council.

No need to call someone a dumbass for only knowing 1/2 of the full story.

What a brilliant night/event Bowlers was anyway, deffinatly in the early times & before they decided to sell alcohol, the alcohol just changed the atmosphere somewhat in my opinion.

Never again will there be such a place with such a good buzz. Ive tried many more clubs but nothing compares.
