too right i remember you.remember when you lived in st annes? and i came to stop at yours and stuarts. we went on the beer on the friday and we was all pooped and wasted.or i was anyway.hehehe.

then we went to the zone on the Saturday and i picked up my college mate Blackpool lad dave malloy? --duuno if i spelt it right..? i haven't seen him in about 15 years. he was allways in there.seen him at the empire at morecambe a few times .i was always too pooped to get a number off him .if somebody knows this dude or whereabouts?, i would love to mail or phone the lad and have a chat,see wot he is up to in life maybe catch a beer or several hehehe.are u out there dave malloy?from blackpool,worked as a mechanic for a blackpool bus company.raved at the zone,loveshack,oz,e.t.c went to preston college aged 35-36 ish year in year2007?was a bus mechanic like me also back then..we was both about 20-21 in year 91-92 back then..doing a city and guilds in heavy motor vehicle technology.stu vicki's ex also did the same coarse with me at morecambe the year before.but i knew stu from when i was nee high from the same school.we used to fight as kids. but had a buzz when teenagers.he was a very good friend, i regret loosing contact with him(i dunno how this happens?but it just does eh?).anyway i have a feeling we will meet up again.i know he lives in the next town. he has been spotted by my m8's several times.and i have passed him in my car.but both been busy,.mad init...

i remember these certain mix tapes with barry jay, and matt bell.they really got into my nut over that weekend.in a buzzy way i mean
was a mad weekend for me.got back to lancaster after 80 hours away.lol.work in the morning doh!
barry,matt,john and andy was my fav zone dj;s the others where top as well in the 90-94 period.i felt the music changed after that and faces changed and i changed my tastes a bit and moved onto the festivals instead .sort of calming down and havin a binge in the summer with music and partys
blimy it feels good just thinking back.was like a golden time. .even though sunday from 6 pm sucked really bad/ i allways worked then,doing an apprentice.so i hated mondays to wed at work.
i still love my oldskool piano(which i listen to when drinking lol. i have loads of tunes after 2 years of reserching the oldskool tunes and hunting them down,infact i,m listening to a andy d set right at this moment in time .( i converted tapes to mp3 and cd years back)haha erie is m c ing at the moment now on this cd i,m listening to.haha yes aye..
i haven't listened to these cd's for a while. but all this talkabout zone around my birthday has really put me in the zoney mood.hahaha
i am glad i looked after the tapes in a shoebox.i was allways fussy with my tapes and always put in box and moaned at any man who abused my tapes.hahaha stu would remember that.he has had me moaning about my tapes hehehe
got about 8 cd's! of zone@blackpool stuff anyway.90-94 ish.one of my fav tape conversion is matt bell scratching at home.this guy really influenced me into getting into the mixing.i didnt actually know the lad ,but i thought his mixing style and pick of choons was wicked..proper my cup of tea in choons,in what the tapes i had checked out anyway.
